The artistic expression that distinguishes my work expresses the difficulty that characterizes the search for balance. In fact, for each of us, balance is always precarious, afflicted as it is by desire. My works show the randomness, static and dynamic nature of life, using bright colors and representing the figure in a very plastic way.
\nI interpret in this way the tension towards the equilibrium, that is searched through the act of doing, in order to reach a possible harmony and different elements, such as desire and unforeseen, which every time undermine any balance achieved: the more stability becomes stronger, the more its fragility increases ( sculptures in precarious balance are made of rigid and fragile materials).
\nThe expressive characters of greatest strength are balance and decisive gesture; the pieces of color represent the repetitive construction of thought, the writing is the communication with what surrounds us.
\nIn my laboratory, every part of a job is composed starting from raw materials.<\/p>\n

Critical note<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Alberto Scarcella’s painting the autonomous characters of a true style are revealed, which excludes pure visibility.<\/p>\n

It is the subject that imposes itself on the emptiness of a world that seems to want to destroy or destroyed every ideal and beauty.<\/p>\n

Equipped with deep technical knowledge, the artist knows how to measure the various shades of colors to present the human condition from time to time, in his paintings few lines create spaces with squares and deserted streets with few ruins of classical antiquity, characterized by a vigorous gesture.<\/p>\n

The whole work of Alberto Scarcella is the expression of a sensitive, often tormented soul.<\/p>\n
